The beauty of Lee Hyori

Lee Hyori

Allow me to introduce you to my new found obsession. She’s the South Korean superstar that has korean men, young and old jumping out of their pants to ogle. Ever since Jessica Alba went preggers and dissolved the hopes and dreams of the world’s dude population, there has since been an ever increasing void amongst the minds of men (Keep your male bashing jokes to yourselves ladies. This is neither the time or place.) In absence of Mrs. Alba from the hotness scene, please lay your gentle gaze upon Ms. Lee Hyori with whom I might add is still very single as of this publishing. Hail to the new Hotness!

Oh and if I can quote Seinfeld: “They’re real and they’re Fabulous!

Credit goes to Popseoul for photo.

You can also read about her here, here and here.

Firefox 3 blazing towards a new world record.

Download Day 2008

I wouldn’t normally endorse this type of thing but hey how can you say no to the little fire foxy. Look at him aww… Anyways, cheers to my favorite browser! Firefox paved the way to an arguably, more open, more accessible, more secure, more mac friendly and ultimately more pleasant internet experience. So, I think they deserve some kudos for that. Swing on by their site and download your copy today!

BMW Builds a Shape-Shifting Car Out of Cloth

BMW GINA

Man, I nearly crapped my pants when I saw this. Clearly, this is why BMW leads the way in innovation. The car itself is being called the BMW GINA “Geometry and functions In ‘N’ Adaptions”. The GINA represents a new philosophy and new way of thinking at BMW. The GINA model won’t see mass production but will instead go straight to the Munich Museum in Germany.

Facebook International

Hey, not sure how many of you already know this but your favorite place to socialize and waste time online is actually pretty capable when it comes to flipping languages on-the-fly. So when you login to your facebook account scroll all the way to the bottom and choose one of the many languages facebook supports. I’m guessing this list will continue to update as they add more languages. But ya, great little feature to make you feel more at home while you stalk your “friends” online.

The Jesus Phone is back!

iPhone 3G

It’s back and better than ever! As Steve would probably say. The iPhone 2.0 was revealed today with much expected fanfare including myself. What a glorious day it was as Steve stood up on stage and delivered exactly what people were expecting to see. It was the best worst-kept-secret for weeks building up to today. But now that it is finally here, we can all lay our worries to rest. This phone, this iPhone will save us all and at half the price! Woot! The messiah has returned! (Officially July 11th)

For us Canuck folk, we’ll see the iPhone on July 11th as well and it’ll be available with Rogers and Fido. The phone comes in black(8GB) and you pay a little more for the white (16GB). And get this, it starts at $199. Yes, way! Yay, iPhones for everyone! See www.apple.com for details.

Artist Highlight

Every once in a while an artist with a fresh voice will re-sing a popular hit and you’ll fall in love with the song all over again. This is one of those times. I discovered a sweet voice on the  Sex and the City soundtrack and her name is Inara George. She’s the songbird in the band The Bird and the Bee. It’s a cover of the Bee Gees classic – How Deep Is Your Love. Ya, I’m a big sap. But it sounds soo sweet. Enjoy.

What??

Weight

Final Result

Exqueeze me? Wha? Ass sphincter says what? 2 pounds heavier? This must be a mistake. Ya so, know how I was feeling lighter yesterday day, being proud of myself for completing this whole challenge? Yeah, not so much today. Looking back, I may have overcompensated on the carb front. Tried to keep my energy up and protein levels high. It’s hard to say whether the extra weight is a result of extra fat or extra muscle. For the sake of this experiment and in the name of science, I’m going to have to conclude that the extra 2 pounds is in the fact, the direct result of increased muscle mass. Oh well, I hope I saved an animal or two through this challenge because I plan to make up for lost time. : ) Also, in the news, I hear PETA has finally taken KFC off their blacklist. That’s good news. Mmm… KFC.

So that’s it! I completed my challenge meat-free! You’ve all witnessed the ups and downs of my veggie journey and again I encourage anyone to try this. But if you have any medical conditions please see a dietary nutritionist first or your Dr.

Keep it locked here. I’ll be blogging about my adventures in Meat-land and I’ll also be posting my pictures at Phil’s Original BBQ. Oh its gonna be sweeet.

DAY07

Sunday

Had a pretty late night on Saturday so my eating schedule was slightly off. But I managed to stay on track and avoid junk foods. Had some more of that delicious Mango Juice (you should really try this) and a croissant. Ate some rice and tofu at lunch and tried to keep my carb count up so I wouldn’t fall on my face. Dinner time followed with a few more carbs and that was it!

Stay tuned for the Weigh-In. I feel lighter…

Hi, I'm Kevin. I eat meat. Always been a carnivore, always will be. Join me on my adventures in life, food and technology! (Sure, what the heck.) This blog will often lend itself to personal opinions on food, technology , style and other snippets of randomness that make up my lifestyle. Stick around and hopefully I can keep things interesting around here. Update Schedule: Just in case you were wondering. I usually update this blog at least once per week. And more sporadically or frequently depending on what's going on in my life. But generally check back with me weekly and thanks!
