If ya gotta go… visit Diaroogle first.

When Nature Calls... Find a toilet quicker.

When Nature Calls... Find a toilet quicker.

I have seen some creative websites in my day but boy this one is either shear genius or completely retarded (I’m not sure which.) This site essentially operates as a search engine for the nearest toilet. Users are encouraged to upload meta data to help build up the sites database. You can upload pictures, comments, ratings and even full blown reviews of the restaurant or porta-pottie. Unfortunately the site is still beta and currently restricted to Manhattan, NYC. Well, gotta go, nature calls!

I love this part of the FAQ:

Why is it called Diaroogle?

Because some deeshbeeg took poogle.com. Diaroogle and poogle are both a play on google, however diaroogle, with it’s diarrhea implications, suggests a greater sense of urgency

Steve Jobs kicks the bucket?

Look what I got Steve!

Look what I got Steve!

No, no, all is well. Mr. Jobs is alive and we have Bloomberg magazine to thank for the heart-attack Thursday morning when they accidently published the Apple CEO’s orbituary prematurely. But in other news and on a happier note… Guess who’s getting an iPhone!!?? Yep, Me! I mean I’ve only been waiting 1 year, 1 month and 2 1/2 weeks (includes my contract renewal period). But yes, finally I get to have an iPhone of my very own!!! No more drooling over everybody elses touchscreen device. Oh Joy!

Now all I need are some accessories! Anybody know of any must-have iPhone accessories? Leave a comment.

P.S. Stay tuned next week for my very own iPhone unboxing!!

The Poor Man’s Vacation

Juggling a fulltime job, school and a mortgage doesn’t afford the time to do much as far as travelling goes. So one can certainly appreciate the efforts of Google when it comes to “getting away” without actually “getting away”. Word on the street, pun intended… keke… is that Google Maps have just added Tokyo, Japan and Sydney, Australia to their special StreetView setup. So now you too can see the world with just a computer and an internet hookup. Hooray!

One ticket to Tokyo.

One ticket to Sydney.

Pleasant Trip!

About Me

Hi, I'm Kevin. I eat meat. Always been a carnivore, always will be. Join me on my adventures in life, food and technology! (Sure, what the heck.) This blog will often lend itself to personal opinions on food, technology , style and other snippets of randomness that make up my lifestyle. Stick around and hopefully I can keep things interesting around here. Update Schedule: Just in case you were wondering. I usually update this blog at least once per week. And more sporadically or frequently depending on what's going on in my life. But generally check back with me weekly and thanks!
